It’s more than just flowers. It’s a good delivery process, too.
So…you’ve ordered flowers and we have created a lovely arrangement for your special occasion. Now how do we get it there??
Every arrangement is carefully secured in a delivery box. It’s then wrapped in our Signature orange tissue and cellophane, stylish, but more importantly protecting the flowers from rain and New York City grit. The card message (sealed for your privacy) is attached with satin ribbon to the packaging – no worries about a missing card! I'm sure you guessed thats not a real delivery person, with a clip board, but you get the picture.
Help Us Help You
You’ll receive a credit card receipt with the delivery information included when your order is placed. Please take a look and recheck the name, address, and delivery date listed are accurate. Our staff is trained to “repeat” the critical details to ensure all is correct with your order. That said, we understand delivery details can sometimes change, and are flexible in handling order revisions.
Our delivery personnel are fantastic. They know Manhattan cold: Soho, Midtown, Upper East and Upper West Sides, and all the neighborhoods in between. Experienced with high secured buildings; Lower East Side tenements, Tribeca Hotels; all the delivery locations to which your flowers may need to go, and the best and fastest way to get there.
Manhattan Is Tiny
It’s a high density area but its only a few miles long, which means we can deliver to any neighborhood without drama. We can’t guarantee delivery times, BUT we make all efforts to get your flowers there when you need them. We will let you know beforehand if there will be an issue before the order is accepted and charged. Business deliveries are always treated as time sensitive, and we try to deliver all orders as soon as possible.
Train, Truck, Foot, Bus or Taxi
Let's be very honest. We leverage every transportation option available in Manhattan to get flowers delivered fresh and direct. Our experienced guys have access to all options and are empowered to leverage any option to ensure the delivery is correct.
John Hancock
All signatures are retained for at least 30 days to validate proper acceptance of the flower delivery. This allows to provide our clients additional confirmation in the event there is any confusion with the recipient.
Wrong Address? , No One Home, or High Security Building? No Problem
Actually, it can be a big problem but we’ve seen it all. It's requested to have all delivery details confirmed before the order is finalized, but we understand this is not always the case. Our patient staff can take details later provided you remain flexible in delivery times.
After 9/11 many security or messenger centers in large office buildings will not accept flowers. The recipient must come down. We try to alert recipients in such cases that a flower delivery is immanent, so they can plan to receive the flowers or have someone else come down and sign for them. Smaller buildings may allow the flower to be received in a message center (which means sometimes there is a delay from when we deliver to the center and they deliver to the recipient).
Unless you state otherwise, our staff will not leave flowers if the recipient is not present. They will return the flowers and we’ll coordinate another delivery address and time. The flowers will be stored in the refrigerator until all delivery details are confirmed. Again, we understand challenges with all the variables for deliveries and we’ll try our best to accommodate your needs.
