Free Floral Design Workshop
Learn some tricks of the trade and join us in for our free group workshops in floral designs, taught by Katrina Parris.
The floral design workshops walks guests through flower selection, design principles and care. Katrina will demonstrate the basics of arrangement designs that are practical for every day use.
This is a 45 minute workshop starting at 2PM.

The flower arrangement session is designed to teach you the basic principles and techniques of floral design. Learn to avoid low grade flowers; pairing the right containers with your flower selection; proper cutting of flowers; arranging to your vase; and understand best practices for making your flowers last longer. We will be identifying and working with fresh cut flowers and greens. Instructions will be given for basic floral design for home décor. All supplies are furnished by Katrina Parris Flowers and you may take your arrangement home after the event.
Once the flower arranging is over, we start you with a glass of wine. A wine expert lays out the ABCs of wine tasting and guides the group through an array of wines from local retailers and the stories behind them. The wine tasting includes everything from hand-selected wines to paired cheeses and chocolates to an enthusiastic wine expert who will guide you through the experience.
This is a 3 hour event thats great for vino lovers and social groups.

This is great for friends, wedding parties and social groups. The workshop includes the basic instructions from our "Floral Design and Wine Tasting Combined!" workshop. In addition, you learn the basic techniques for creating a wedding bouquet sure to please the most discriminating person - you.
We will review design styles, using mechanicals and other techniques. Of course, you will also learn all the latest tricks and tips for keeping your bouquets together and alive for the longest time possible. All supplies are furnished by Katrina Parris Flowers and you may take your arrangement home after the event. This event will include multiple instructors.
